Easter in New Orleans

It was so much warmer there than it was in Washington when I left! That was nice. Only one of my sisters was able to make it for Easter this year, so that was too bad, but we did have a nice time. I got to eat a lot of my favorite things, including crawfish. (I should have taken a picture for you, Katia.) I didn't get to have a snoball, but maybe next time, as long as it's still summer season. Snoball stands are closed in the fall and winter.

My dad and I went to an Easter parade, which was silly. It was just a bunch of people in carriages, wearing bonnets and throwing chocolate. I took some pictures, though, so I will post them when I get them back.
