Lunchtime Idol
Erika and I went to lunch today at The Old Post Office Pavilion, where they have a food court. They also have a stage, which occasionally has singers or other performers on it. Today, it was occupied by a high school group doing some kind of spoof on American Idol. It was bizarre. Lots of bad singing. At first, we couldn't tell if it was staged, or an actual contest. But we think it was staged.
On the way out, we saw an Amish family sitting at a table, eating lunch and watching the show.
This was the weirdest lunch I've had in a while.

I wonder how the Amish family got there. Obviously not in a typical horse and buggy...
Maybe they were Mennonite? They can drive cars and fly on planes and stuff...
Sounds strangly entertaining. :) Thank you much for the stitch markers! I love them, especially the ladybug! I was surprized that they showed up in my mail so soon (especially since I've been a stitch marker slacker and just got mine out to my pal today). I'll post pictures tomorrow, for now I just wanted to say thanks!
