rain, rain GO AWAY
It is pouring. This has created several difficulties for me this morning.
1. My bedroom ceiling was leaking. Again. I called the office, and they sent 2 guys up, who got there right as I was leaving. They said they think they can fix it, and off they went, above my ceiling. I put a trash can under the leak, so I just hope it doesn't overflow, if they haven't been able to fix it.
2. I hate taking the bus in the rain. It's crowded, and wet, and slow, and in the winter, smells like wet wool.
3. I am soaking. My hair is wet. The back of my skirt was so wet I had to turn it around, so I'm now sitting on the front. I had to take my shoes off. My bookbag is soaked.
At least today's Friday.

Hope that you come home to a fixed leak. It is rainy here as well and I hate days that start out soggy. My feet never seem to dry out after traversing the puddles of the parking lot no matter how carefully I tread.
Thanks!
I hate wet shoes. I hate that sloshy noise your feet make with wet socks. ewwww.
I was trying to be careful too -- I managed to avoid stepping into any large puddles, but it was raining so hard, the rain soaked in from the tops of my shoes. blah.
If it's any consolation, the Big Apple is pretty wet today, too. I guess I can expect more NJ Transit train journey hell on the way home tonight. For some reason, rain mucks up their works!
yeah, it seems that the East Coast is a soggy mess today.
