1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer higher quality and/or natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand? Or is it all the same to you?
I prefer natural fibers. I do use Lion Brand if I need novelty yarn, and I don't mind Lion Brand Homespun. I've never used any Red Heart.
2. Do you spin? Crochet?
no. no.
3. Do you have any allergies? (smoke, pets, fibers, perfume, etc.)
occasionally, dogs or cats will bring on a sneezing fit, but I have yet to determine when that actually will occur.
4. How long have you been knitting?
a year and a half
5. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?
no
6. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)
lavender. I have an intense dislike for anything vanilla scented, unless it's something to eat.
7. Do you have a sweet tooth?
yes -- I especially love dark, slightly bitter chocolate, and sour candy.
8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do?
needlepoint, scrapbooking, beading
9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)
mostly indie/alternative rock, with some showtunes thrown in for kicks. Yes on the MP3s.
10. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can't stand?
I love light pink and purple and yellow. (although not necessarily together.)

no pets, I live by myself

yikes. to travel the world
13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with?
All summer, I was totally into mercurized cotton. Now that summer's nearly over, I need to get back to wool knitting. I would also like to try bamboo silk.
14. What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
scratchy acrylics
15. What is/are your current knitting obsession/s?
I've been working on Kyoto from Knitty for a while. And making baby blankets for various friends, but that's not all that exciting. I am about to try a hat for the first time, with cables, which I've also never done.
16. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?
hum... I have done a lot of scarves. But I'd like to branch out.

the aforementioned kyoto. a baby blanket. a big person blanket.

I'm over them.

circulars
20. Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?
bamboo, with aluminum as a close second.

I have not tried it, but I'd be game. My secret pal 5 sent me double pointed needles and instructions, but I haven't gotten around to trying it yet!

My mama taught me.

6 months

the Little Twin Stars (part of the Hello Kitty family -- hard to find!)

my birthday. and Christmas.

none but I buy Vogue Knitting

not really a book, but I want the newest Rebecca. Also, Stitch & Bitch Nation.

hum. No. Generally I buy what I want!
