The 1970s
There's no reason for this picture, other than to entice you to go here to see more pictures from Belgium.
Last night, there was nothing on tv. I started to watch a show on MTV called The 1970s House or something like that. It was strangely interesting. They take a bunch of kids, put them in a house that's totally 70s, make them dress 70s, talk 70s, do 70s activities.
Before all this could begin, though, they made them turn over all their 2000s stuff. Bye bye clothes. Bye bye iPod. Bye bye cell phone and computer. I never really realized how much stuff I use nearly every day didn't even exist 30 years ago. No internet? No cell phone? No iPod? No email?
Of course, I functioned fairly well during high school, when I didn't have a cell phone or an iPod and only had very rudimentary email. None of my friends really had email, though, so it wasn't even that useful.
But now, I don't think I could ever go back. 70s? ha! I don't think I could do an "Early 1990s House" show.

I don't think that I could survive a day in that 70's house. A day without my cell phone (even though i rarely talk on it we are rather attached) and the internet sounds like prison!
I know! I don't use my cell phone that much, either, but when you need one, you really need one.
yeah, I don't really remember the 70s, since I wasn't born until 1975, but I do remember not having cable. We didn't get it at my house until the early 90s.
I love medieval! I am dying to go to that corny Medieval Times thing where you eat dinner and watch a joust. Want to come? C.
OOHHHH, yes!!
