Fight! Fight!

I love riding the bus, for the very reason that sometimes crazy things happen. Sometimes crazy things happen on the metro, too, but not as often.

Last night, there was a woman standing right in front of me (I was sitting down). All of a sudden, she started yelling at this guy who was backing up to make room for more people to get on the bus. Saying, "You're going to step on me! Stop it!" when in reality, he was no where near stepping on her. He stopped, and said, "Lady, I'm 3 feet away from you." She says, "No. Your bag was about to hit me. You were just backing up without looking where you were going." This goes on and on, until he says, "It's people like YOU that make this city such a joy to live in." Which was hilarious. But then she says, "Oh, and YOU'RE a great American?" Which was awesome. If I ever get into a fight on the bus, I'm totally using that line.
