Throw me something, Mister!
Today I took the bus to work, like normal. We drive past a Safeway on this bus route. When we got there, there was a delivery truck out front. The bus driver opened the bus door, and said, "hey! Can I have something?" and they threw her a loaf of bread. How funny. How weird. Who would think to ask that? Then she made a big announcement about how we shouldn't tell anyone that happened, so of course, I'll put it on the internet.
The rest of the trip to Tucson was good. Sarah & Cap's wedding was lovely. They had ice cream cake for their wedding cake! It was delicious. They had a fun Brazilian band play for part of the time, and then Cap had mixed a bunch of songs onto his computer for more dancing. I think there are several pictures of Sarah's brother Andrew & me dancing to Blondie's "The Tide is High." I mean, come on, you have to dance to that. (and sing, which we did quite badly.) Sarah's sister Jennifer & I sang along to the Bangles' "Manic Monday," and actually managed to scare some people into leaving the reception. I guess whatever my future holds, pop star is probably NOT a viable option.
