Dilemma

I started reading this book, The Far Field, last week. It's about 600 pages, and I've read 400 so far. I realized this morning that I really don't care what happens to the characters, and I'm just not into the book at all. In fact, I even opted to stare out of the bus window instead of reading it this morning. So here's the dilemma: I've only got 200 pages to go. Do I give up, or plod through?
