College Bound
This morning, I had an appointment at GW University. As I was leaving, I somehow got caught in a campus tour. Suddenly, I was surrounded by parents asking questions about drinking, high school students not speaking, and a tour guide talking about how it's possible to triple major. (yikes!) After I disentangled myself from the tour, I noticed there were a lot of kids with suitcases walking from the metro towards the dorms, some with their parents, some without. I guess it's campus visit summer vacation for those lucky kids.
When I was in college, I had a prospective student stay with me in my dorm room. After my second semester of my sophomore year, I always had a single room, I think because I am somewhat difficult to live with. Anyway, so there was an extra bed, and plenty of room for her. It so happened that I lived in a dorm where the fire alarm went off with some regularity. As it did that night. The girl woke up, and I tried to convince her just to go back to sleep, and that fire alarms went off all the time. She refused, so we both trudged outside. Lo and behold, there actually was a fire that time! Opps!
At least it wasn't the earthquake Amy swears we had one night. In San Antonio. And, well, the news that night agreed with her, but I still think it was just a big truck driving by the building.

I totally do not remember that but if you say it happened, it must be true!
yes, I think it was right before Easter the year I went home with you. (we flew to Dallas together)
Earthquake? Where was I?
Ah yes, sleeping through fire alarms in Prassel. Good times.
