Today's gratuitous please-click-here shot was brought to you by Warsaw.
Today, I had to pop home to collect something. I live relativly close to my office, so that part wasn't a big deal. I took a cab home, and got my stuff. I walked up to the bus stop to wait for either a cab or a bus, whichever came by first. I was amazed by the number of people who were out and walking around! Yeah, it was lunch time, but my neighborhood is primarily a residential neighborhood. There are lots of stores, and restaurants, and bars, and a few small offices, like an insurance office and a medical clinic and a place to wire money to Guatemala.
What were all those people doing? Where do they work? I'm so curious. I guess, though, when I was in school, I was often home during the day. Especially my last semester of law school, when I scheduled all my classes on Mondays and Wednesdays only, and I was working from home most of the time.
Oh, also? In the mornings and the evenings, there are tons of cabs that go by the exact spot where I was waiting for one. I had to wait 20 minutes for one today. I guess it would've been faster to have called one from my house.

I'm always amazed by how many people are out and about in the middle of the day. I've got a strange work/school schedule, so a lot of times I'm out running errands in the middle of the day. Where do all the people come from?
