(Yogurt) Thief in our Midst

I like to eat yogurt as my afternoon snack, especially if I am going to the gym after work (like tonight) because it fills me up for that hour. Lately, though, if I put the yogurt in the office fridge's door, someone will eat it.

At first I thought it was a mistake. I mean, probably a lot of people eat Activia mixed berry yogurt (yeah, I always eat the same brand and flavor... I really like it!) and maybe they legitimately thought it was theirs.

But come on. I think approximately 10 yogurts have gone missing in the past two months. That is not a mistake. And they never take someone else's strawberry-banana Activia. (because, well, yuck.)

So today I put my name on a post-it, stuck it on the lid, and put the whole thing in the fridge door. When I went in the kitchen around 1:00 to fix my lunch? My yogurt was gone! Even with my name on the lid!

I need a nanny cam. Or, possibly, to start keeping my yogurts in a paper bag in the fridge, instead of in the door.

When I lived in a share house in London a million years ago we all had a set space in the fridge. One guy was so pissed off with people stealing his 'butter' but being unable to prove it was happeneing. So he carved japanese words in the top of it, boy wa he jubilant to be able to prove there was a thief!!

Ergo, suggest learning japanese!

What is it with people and stealing yogurt? That used to happen all the time at school. I finally started hiding mine behind other people's stuff or in the drawers down below.

That would make me go on a rampage! Hope you have some success in catching the thief!
