Let's Go Caps?

My friend Katy works for the Washington Caps, our hockey team, and she gave me 2 tickets to last night's game. Alison came with me, and we had a good time, even though the Caps well, they're not good. OK, maybe they suck. This was the second game I've gone to this season (Erika has season tickets and took me to one game earlier in the season, which they also lost.) The seats were great -- they were on the club level, and we had a great view of the whole game. Too bad they lost 6-0.

I don't normally like sports, playing or watching, but I do enjoy hockey. I think it's because my dad used to take me & my sisters sometimes when we were little. I always wanted to see blood on the ice, 'cause it bounces. While I did see several fights last night, there was no blood.

I think there were more Buffalo fans there than Caps fans. And, in what can only be considered ironic justice, a guy who played for the Caps on Monday, got traded to Buffalo on Tuesday, and played for Buffalo last night was named player of the game. I'm sure that made him feel good, since Katy said he did not want to be traded.
