Last night I went to my step class. A few weird things happened. First, about halfway through the class, 2 women came and stood in the back of the room. They just watched for about 10-15 minutes, but never joined in or anything. OK, one thing to watch, another thing to just stand around and watch for 15 minutes. It kind of made me feel like I was an exhibit in a zoo.

The other weird thing was there was this woman right in front of me who clearly had never been to a step class before. Ok, fine, cool, glad you're trying, we've all been new at something. It was interesting that she chose to attend Step 2 for her first class, but whatever. The weird thing was, she couldn't keep up with the routine, so she just started making up her own dance moves. She'd jump off the step, snap her fingers, spin around, and pump her fists around. All to her own special beat in her head. It was bizarre and I wanted to laugh out loud, but I managed to keep it in my head. I am impressed she made it through the whole class like that, though!
