No one prevailing thought today

Friday night, Rebeccah took me to see the Batsheba Dance Company at the Kennedy Center, as a sort of yay, Genevieve finished her exam and can go out again! present. Which was really nice. Batsheba Dance Company is an Israeli dance company, and they dance modern ballet/dance. I really liked it a lot. They did about 8 or 9 different dances from different ballets. At one point, they pulled audience members onto the stage. Neither Rebeccah nor I wanted to be pulled up, and we were right in the front! I kept telling her not to make eye contact. I am not an audience participator. Luckily they didn't chose either of us, but the people they did pick did a great job.

Saturday, my car wouldn't start! Since I only drive once a week or so, I don't always notice when something goes wrong with my car right away. Yesterday I had AAA come out and jump start the car, and then I had the battery replaced. $118 and 3 hours later, I have a working car again.

My sisters were both here this weekend, so it was nice to be able to spend some time with them, even though it was quick. I'll see them next at Easter, because we are all meeting up in Savannah for the weekend.

Did anyone else watch the Oscars last night? I thought they were a little boring... all Lord of the Rings, all the time. Come on. The song from the Triplets of Belleville was way more deserving of an award! Although I was glad that the Lord of the Rings won best picture.
