A baby-filled weekend

This weekend was pretty much all babies, all the time. Saturday I hosted a baby shower for my friend Kate. She is due April 18th. The shower was a brunch, and I think it went off pretty well. Kate got lots of presents, and she seemed happy for them. The food was delicious, if I do say so myself. And everyone seemed to have a good time.

Yesterday I baby-sat Kobey so Courtney & Randy could go to a movie. He was asleep half the time I was there, and then once he got up, we spent the rest of the afternoon playing with every toy he owns. And he owns a lot... he's like a toddler Toys R Us all on his own. We played outside, and he invented this game, where he would go down his little slide, and then run up the hill in their yard (which I had to help him with) and touch the fence at the top of the hill, then turn around, go down the hill, and start all over again. We did this for about 40 minutes. Kobey is adorable, but I was ready to give him back once his parents came home!
