I'm being punished

So yesterday? My computer went insane. (my computer in my office) I spent about 3 hours with the help desk people, in my office, on the phone, and by remote connection to my desktop. I kept saying "I think it's a network problem!" but they seemed to think it wasn't, and proceeded to test every other thing possible. Finally, they decided to check the network cable. Bad. So I got a new one, and all is well.

Until this morning, when I tried to get in to one of my databases, and I realized they deleted Java from my computer when they decided to re-image it. So that was another hour trying to get it reinstalled.

All seems well now, but I swear, the computer thinks I should be on the firm retreat I'm skipping today & tomorrow.
