a non-snow day snowy day

Yesterday it snowed. The entire day. I came in to the office, but a lot of people didn't. They had a liberal leave policy in effect. I would prefer to save my one remaining vacation day, thank you very much. (I'll have 3 more in April.) Around 4, they told us we could go home, but I stuck it out until 5:30. I was hoping today would be a snow day, but alas, it's also a liberal leave day. It's supposed to snow next week, too, so I'm ever hopeful.

Today was my friend Erin's last day at work here. She's gone, it's sad, but I inherited a new poster for my bare walls, and a twin for my rubber ducky.
