Middle Names
Yesterday, I was working with some co-workers, and the topic of middle names came up. (because we were writing our initials all over stuff). One of my co-workers tried to guess mine, but he was unsuccessful. Anyone have any guesses? I'll give you the same clues he had:
It starts with an L
It is probably on the top 5 most popular American female middle names list.
Any guesses? No fair playing if you either named me or happen to know the name.
I was surprised he didn't guess.

Leigh?
good guess, but nope.
YES!! Good job, Nabbalicious!
My co-worker guessed Laura, Linda, LouAnne, Lizzie, Leslie, and Larry before giving up.
I was going to guess Louise - (my middle name) which is a top 5 Australian middle name for those of us born in the mid 1970s!
I am not sure if Louise is as popular here in the States. I only know one person with Louise as a middle name... perhaps she knows the popularity? Amy?
i didn't chime in since I already knew the answer! I was named after two family friends. Both older ladies at the time. I have never met anyone else with Louise in their name. I think it has become old-fashioned in the U.S.
Interestingly enough, the only Louise I know is Australian...born in the mid to late 60's.
It's funny how sometimes names are old fashioned in one place but not another. My French friends tell me Genevieve is old fashioned. (I think there were never enough Genevieves in the US for it to make a difference) My friend Rebeccah says in Israel, everyone tells her the name Rebecca is old fashioned, yet I know tons of Rebeccas here.
Your co-worker guessed Larry but didn't get Lynn? Me thinks he is NOT up on his middle name knowledge!
I know, and the funny thing is, he has 5 kids, 3 of them girls! You'd think he would be up on that...
Lynn? (I didn't read the rest of the comments. Yet!)
Woohoo! I was right.
And wow, that guy at your office isn't too good at that.
