Why?

I went to get my salad out of the fridge at work. I noticed something odd... a basket of little tiny butter pats! The individually wrapped kind, like you'd get in a restaurant. I wonder why they're in there. Is it someone's lunch?

Ok, more than likely, they're leftovers from Friday's Partners' Luncheon, but still, it's a little odd. Normally the caterers would take that with them when they leave.
