I actually like those socks. Are socks your favorite things to knit? I'm going to take a knitting class this summer. We have two really cute knitting stores here. It is high time I learned.
I just looked at your other knitting pictures. Your pillows are so cute. My friend Maya had a friend make her a pillow with their wedding picture on it and their wedding date. Then, she did a pillow in the theme of their honeymoon. The pillows sit on their couch. Very cute. You are so creative!
Socks are very fun! I like turning the heel. Also, they are small so they knit up fast - instant gratifictation. I think you will like knitting - it's quite relaxing and I like the feeling of making things I can use. Also it's easy to do while watching dvds or tv. too bad you don't live closer to me or I'd teach you but maybe you will meet some new friends in the class.
