It.Is.Hot.

It is so hot. I mean, so hot that the living room air conditioner couldn't get below 80 last night, even though I a. have all the blinds closed b. have fans going and c. set the thing to 68. At least I didn't lose power. Apparently plenty of people did. I guess I would've gone over to my parents' apartment if that had happened.

Also? If the bus is running its air conditioner, as they all do during the summer months, please keep the windows closed! It doesn't make it cooler. There's nothing like getting hit in the face with some steamy hot wind when the person in front of you decides to open her window.

At least my office is cool. Maybe I should sleep under my desk tonight, George Costanza style.
