Legal Assistants
I just had a legal assistant come get a stack of documents to photocopy for me (actually, for my boss) and I'm about to slam her with another stack. I feel bad. I remember being a legal assistant, and how much it sucked to do photocopying. I went to college for this?!
But I shouldn't have to do it, either, so I guess she's stuck with it.

hey girl...i surfed over from amie's blog, and just wanted to say hey! :-)
I feel your pain. My version of photocopying is asking veterinary technicians to clean up after animals or washing the animals themselves. I'm sure they have the same thought...I went to school for this?! And I feel bad asking them to do it. But, as you said, I went to college and vet school and somehow, that's no longer my job.
My freshman year of college I had a job where all I did for hours on end was photocopy medical articles from the med school library to be sent out for researchers. It sucked! But someone has to do it...
I think it's probably a rite of passage that most graduates go through when they first start working - you're right at the bottom of the pecking order, but there's the possibility or probability of moving on/up which keeps you going. I did my share of photocopying, mail-room sorting and mindless data-entry when I first started working.
