Saturday, Robin & I went to the White House Garden tour. They open up the gardens for us hoi polloi twice a year. More photos can be seen

Do the White House gardens feature any special collections? It looked rather green, though lush ,not as colorful as I would expect.
yeah, I agree, it was rather green and not a lot of flowers. There was a rose garden and the Jackie Kennedy garden. Each president has planted a tree. And there was a children's garden but we skipped that because the line was long. They also have a pool & tennis courts but we didn't get to see those! there is also a walking/running track built into the yard.
