On the Phone with Brussels Part 2
Me: OK, I leave on Saturday, do you need me to bring you anything?
Ana: Yeah. Buffering?
Me: What?
Ana: Bufferim?
Me: What? (almost said: can you spell that?)
Ana: Isn't that what you call it? Aspirin.
Me: BUFFERIN.
Ana: Yeah. For all the giant headaches we get at the office!
Libellés : Ma Vie

what a wonderful brand-name. I've never heard of that one before!
Kind of like people outside the USA call tylenol paracetamol.
Have a good trip to Brussels. No flight movie vote this time? :)
Hey - can't you get that one at the pub?
Safe travels!
ps: I need your mailing address so I can send a PIF giftie sometime before the end of March...

yesterday at work i received an email asking for healthcare crudentials.
Paisley, I guess it's an American brand!
Amie, yes, paracetamol... I had to buy some in a pharmacy once and I didn't know it was Tylenol. I chose it for my headache (my general approach in a foreign pharmacy is just to tell the pharmacist "I have a headache" or whatever and let them suggest stuff) because I rememebered English girls take it from books like Bridget Jones.
And I will do a movie vote for the return trip. On the flights over, I only watch one movie & sleep the rest of the time, and there was one on the list I already knew I wanted to see!
WMK, I guess not at the pub!
Sarah, do you have heath care crudentials?! I would have replied "I am really good at putting on band-aids and dispensing children's tylenol."
