huh?
If your choice of newspaper was The Washington Post or USA Today, why, oh why, would you ever chose USA Today? Well, actually, if your choice was USA Today or nearly any other paper written in English, again, I ask, why chose USA Today?
I'm surprised places in Washington even sell USA Today. The guy I saw buying it today at ABP was the first person I've ever seen buying it there. I thought at first maybe they had sold out of the Post, but that wasn't the case.

I never read the newspaper so I am at a loss for this one...but I AM staying at a hotel this weekend with complimentary USA today's...I will be sure to read and see what I think.
USA Today is like a comic book of a newspaper. It caters to the...ummm...perhaps less educated crowd? Lots of colors and pretty pictures. If I get a complimentary copy at a hotel, I read it, but that's pretty much it. Let us know what you think, Molly.
yeah, same here. If it's free and they don't give you a choice (I will always chose a local paper over USA Today) then I'll pick it up. At least they have a crossword... and maybe sudoku now!
USA Today has a massive circulation. As suggested, it caters to those who wish for a quick overview of events -- travellers are the hotly targeted segment. It doesn't aspire to be anything more than that.
When there was a knock at the hotel door Sunday morning and a hotel worker was bringing my breakfast/newspaper I sprung up from the couch excitedly, eager to peruse the USA Today...I flipped through for the sports page (important things first) and discovered they had subsistuted biggest local paper, DRATS! I felt duped...so alas no opinions still on the USA Today
rats!! next time...
