Ode in haiku form to my week
Quite a busy week
keeping track of everything
is too much for me
Last night at a bar
was one of "2 center girls"
smoke got in my eyes
today, work, work, work
tonight, the Olympics start!
I will eat pizza
Next week: looking calm?
Not really, more of the same
ending in Quebec!

I really, really, really want to go to Montreal.
you really, really, really should! it's fantastique. and, not too far from where you live. and, the added benefit of Canada being fairly inexpensive once you get there, even with the crappy US dollar.
I'm sorry I missed the bar last night. How was it, besides the smoke? I was sitting at home per doctor's orders feeling really, really antsy and came very close to leaving the house, but was a good patient and rested instead.
Awesome! I love haiku.
Haikus remind me of 5th grade as that is where we learned the poetic format. It quickly became the most popular form of 5th grade communication
Jayne, the bar was fun! We should go back with Robin some time.
Thanks, Amie!
Molly, your haiku remberances reminded me of mine. We learned hiaku in 3rd grade, as part of a lesson on Japan. I wrote one about cherry blossoms.
