Adventures on the Bus, #1252345

(with apologies to Amie - it was pouring down rain last night so I couldn't get a photo of my car)

The scene: the bus. The players: a couple, in the midst of a debate over what kind of dog to get, and the guy's friend.

ACTION!

Girl: What about this one? shows photo of a Maltese to her husband
Guy: Um... that dog's too girly.
Guy's Friend: Yeah, you need a tough dog. Something with curly hair, too.
Girl: I'm not sure what's got curly hair AND is tough. OHHHHH, what about the pekeapoo? Isn't this the cutest thing you've ever seen?
Guy: Well...
Girl: Look! So cute!
Guy: OK. We can get the pekeapoo.
Girl: Really? You like the pekeapoo?
Guy: Yeah. As long as I have input on his name.
Girl: I was thinking Cuddles...
Guy: NO.
Guy's Friend: Ninja! Ninja would be an awesome name for that dog.
Guy: Yeah, Ninja's good, but what about Fish? A dog named Fish? Think of the irony, dudes!
Girl: That's pretty funny, but how would we spell it? (passenger listening in nearby thinks to herself 'how do you spell fish? is this for real?')
Guy: With a "y." For sure.
Girl: F-y-s-h
Guy: Yeah.
Guy's Friend: I hope you guys never have kids.

That's a pretty valid point, actually, about them never having kids.

That'd make a good title for a song wouldn't it... "A dog named Fish" by John Dory and the Whippets.
