No Cartoons?

It's 10 am on a Saturday morning, prime cartoon-watching time. I turned on our local NBC channel. Guess what's on? Not the Smurfs. Not Saved by the Bell. The McLaughlin Group! What kind of kid wants to watch the McLaughlin Group? I don't even want to watch it! Guess I need to change the channel to Boomerang...

I've found i can no longer trust tv programming and only live in the world of the DVR. that way I can see Murder She Wrote whenever I want.

Brena, you're right!

Sarah, that is an excellent plan, and for the most part, I follow suit. However, I only have the DVR in the living room. On Saturday mornings, it's kinda nice to be able to lie in bed for a bit watching cartoons! (though I suppose your days of said activity are over for a bit, at least until Addie starts sleeping in...)

Television in the bedroom? How lush!

Happy New Year by the way.

Dear Genevieve:

How dare you slam the McLaughlin Group!!! The Group is no. 5 on my TIVO Season Pass list! And this weeks' was a good one, their annual fancy dress and tux annual awards featuring George Allen's macaca madness highlights! I have been watching McLauglin since I was but a tween... Rebeccah

Paisley, yes, I am spoiled! (actually, it's the small tv I got when I went to college, and it's still around) And Happy New Year to you, too!

Rebeccah, sigh. I'm sorry to hurt your feelings, darling, but it's just a boring show. Please, give me Zach Morris & his giant cell phone.

Polly, thanks and Happy New Year!

Amie, maybe that is wishful thinking?
