Koala Cake

I have been tasked with coming up with a cake that looks like a koala. I have no idea how to do this. Any suggestions? Bonus points if it does not involve drawing the koala onto the cake as I cannot draw!

Also? I made socks.

You could bake a rectangular sheet cake, print out a picture of a koala place it on the cake, cut around it, frost to look like a koala.

Or you could bake circles and construct one out of varying sizes. (one large circle for the stomach, a smaller one for the head, with a side cut off to attach it to the head then little "half" circle ears, legs and arms)

I would totally bake a rectangular cake and cut it, that is what I usually do!

I think that Wilton makes a bear cake pan. You could use that and make the bear look like a koala. It's all in the nose right? And then maybe you could stick some bamboo in it's hand or something?

Or, you could bake a cake and decorate it with Koala Yummies Koala's doing different little Koala things, like... I don't know... playing volleyball? Having a picnic???

I would also go with the bake a rectangular cake and then cut around it and frost.
Perhaps not bamboo for a koala though (I think that's more a panda delicacy). Koalas' sole source of nourishment are Eucalyptus leaves (which take ages to digest so koalas are usually found sleeping). The nose is definitely a defining characteristic, along with big round fluffy ears.

I am guessing that you could buy the pan directly from Wilton and/or at a baking supply store (aka: Michaels, AC Moore...)
